The objective of Organisation Development (OD) is to provide support and facilitate services (set out below) on a timely basis in order to meet human resources requirements throughout the Company.

  1. Facilitate staffing requirements through the process of recruitment and selection, by employing the appropriate strategies and selection criteria. Recruitment involves both internal (within the Company) and external (outside of the Company, i.e. within the country and overseas).
  2. Manage performance through the current Staff Appraisal System.
  3. Conduct Job Evaluation and assessment as part of the ongoing changes within the Company.
  4. Handling of staff queries in relation to the above functions mentioned.

While facilitating these services, the OD Team is required to comply with Company and/or other external organisation policies and procedures.

The OD Team also relies heavily on the feedback received from Divisional and Departmental Heads as we basically perform a facilitative function. Thus, there is always close consultation between the team and managers concerned, bearing in mind that there are HR policies and procedures in place to also comply with.
