Staff Working hours

Dear Staff, please be advised that random audits of attendance will continue. Late comers will be given warning letters. Note your pay can be docked if you are more than 15 minutes late.

 

Office Equipment

Dear Staff, Note that using Air Niugini equipment such as computers, network and telephones for personal use or doing personal work for outside parties or yourself during work hours can be considered as misconduct and therefore subject to disciplinary actions which can include dismissal. If you have any doubts please raise with your manager.

Staff are also reminded that start times are 8.00 am and that management will be monitoring arriving to work on time. Lateness will be subject to disciplinary action and consistent lateness can be a cause for termination. If you have any issues please discuss with your management

 

Vehicles for Finance

Dear Staff, It has come to my attention that we have been paying for fuel for personal vehicles that are being used to make business runs. Please note that all PX vehicles, from the CFO down, are available for business use during business hours. In general, there is no reason for staff to use their personal vehicles. So
effective immediately, all finance staff reimbursements for fuel must come to me for approval.

Company Confidentiality

Dear Staff, Please be reminded that the Code of Conduct contains a Company Confidentiality clause at Section 4.22. Please observe this rule when communicating with external parties as internal company information is confidential and should not be revealed without prior authority. Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct will result in disciplinary action.

Staff Working hours

Dear Staff, please be reminded that standard office hours are 8.00am start and 5.00pm finish with one hour allowed for lunch, with standard ordinary hours of 40 per week. Some situations are unavoidable, in this case call your Team Leader or Manager informing you are running late and explain the reason. If you are sick, you are expected to call in and let your Manager know you wont be at work.  

In the near future the situation will be monitored and action including loss of pay and warnings will be issued.
