Can I view my reservation after it has been made?
Yes. However, you must have created a profile as an Air Niugini customer at the time of purchase to take advantage of this feature.

How far in advance can I book a flight?
Bookings may be made up to one year in advance howevre it is advisable to check with your local Air Niugini office closer to your travel date in case there have been any timetable changes (if you are booking that far in advance).

I choose to pay in person or via phone than online. Can I still book a flight online?
No.  It is not possible to book and then pay later.  All bookings must be paid for at the time of booking by a valid Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

How do I pay for my flight purchased online?
Currently Air Niugini accepts the following credit cards for flights booked online:
•Visa Card
•MasterCard
•American Express

What type of ticket will I receive?
You will receive an Electronic Ticket commonly called an e-ticket.

How Does Electronic Ticketing Work?
Electronic Tickets (eticket) are a convenient alternative to a paper ticket. With an Electronic Ticket, you only need to print a copy of your itinerary and keep it with you during your journey.  You present it to the check in counter and it is accepted the same way as a paper ticket by the person checking you in for a flight. If a printed itinerary is misplaced, a user, who has created a profile (registered) at the Air Niugini web site can go back to the site and retrieve a new one.  Non-registered users must contact Air Niugini to have an itinerary emailed to them.

I have forgotten my Air Niugini profile password. What should I do?
Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive. Therefore, please ensure that you have entered them correctly. To receive your password via e-mail, go to the login page and click on ‘forgot your password?’. Enter your username and click ‘continue’.

If I don't receive a paper ticket, how can I be sure that the booking is made and is correct?
Your booking and ticketing details are stored safely on the Air Niugini Reservation System by creating an electronically held record (ticket) of the transaction as an itinerary receipt.  Although you do not receive a conventional paper ticket, you will receive an email message confirming your booking as well as a message on your screen.

Can I get a new ticket if I have to check-in with baggage?
Yes, you can purchase an Electronic Ticket even if you have baggage to check-in.  Just go to the Check in counter the same way you would if you had a paper ticket.  If travelling overseas you must ensure that you have all the necessary documentation for your trip.  This may simply be a visa for the country/ies you are visiting but it may include other things such as proof of financial support for the time you will be away and/or a return ticket etc.  If in doubt please check with the nearest airline office or travel agent.

Do I need to have an account with the same bank as Air Niugini to book online?
No, all you need is a valid Visa or Mastercard with sufficient funds to pay for the purchase of your online booking.
