NOTICE TO ALL TENANTS OF COMPANY PROVIDED ACCOMMODATION

 

Please take note that when vacating your company provided accommodation, you are required to restore the property to its original condition when you first took up occupation.

 

All keys must be returned immediately to Staff Accommodation Section upon vacating.

 

Staff Accommodation may charge pro-rata rentals for those residing in rented properties until the day keys are handed over.

 

Listed below are few points that will require your attention when cleaning the premises:

 

Kitchen

 

  • Clean all bench tops, cupboards, shelves and doors

  • Wash down walls and ceilings to rid dust and cobwebs

  • Clean and remove grease on oven, grills cook top and behind the stove

  • Clean range hood, dishwasher and exhaust fan

  • Clean kitchen sink, drainage holes, and base of taps to be scrubbed clean

  • Clean out the fridge including the trays and exterior as well as behind the fridge

 

Bathroom/Laundry

 

  • Clean shower screen/curtains/glass

  • Shower tray and bath tub to be thoroughly cleaned

  • All tile surfaces to be cleaned and free of dirt

  • All mirrors, vanity and toilet are to be cleaned

  • Washing machine must be clean

     

General

 

  • Clean and wash down both interior and exterior of the property

  • Clean walls, light fittings, skirting boards, window sills and door frames

  • Repair/Replace any damaged furniture and fittings.

  • All carpets, cushion covers, and curtains are to be professionally cleaned

  • Flyscreens are to be hosed down to rid dust

  • All inventories must be accounted for and in good condition

  • Lawns must be mowed, edges trimmed and garden fully weeded and all rubbish removed from the premises.

     

Staff Accommodation Section will charge tenants for the cleaning cost if you who fail to clean the property upon your exit.
