Code Share Safety Audit on Air Niugini

This week Qantas were in POM to conduct a Code Share Safety Audit on Air Niugini.

The code share agreement is a very important strategic alliance for Air Niugini that has been running for a number of years now and this was the first audit of the agreement for quite some time.

So it was extremely important that the company showed Qantas what a great airline Air Niugini is.

The results of the Audit were extremely pleasing with only a couple of very minor issues being identified.

The Auditors were most complementary about the staff at Air Niugini and their professional approach to the way that we all carry out our various functions at the airline.

They stated that the manner, in which the airline operated, exceeded even their expectations.

Qantas operates close to 50 code shares so they have many other operators to compare Air Niugini with.

This was is a real complement coming from a large airline such as Qantas, one which we should all be very proud of.
